Henrik Samuel Conrad Sjögren (July 23, 1899, Köping - September 17, 1986, Lund [1]) was a Swedish ophthalmologist best known for the eponymous condition Sjögren's syndrome. Sjögren is pronounced [ɧœˈgrɪən][2]; the syndrom is pronounced /ˈʃoʊɡrənz/ in English.
Henrik Sjögren should not be confused with Karl Sjögren, the "Sjögren" in Sjögren-Larsson syndrome.
