Henry de Ellerton


(fl. 1304–22)

English mason, he became Master of the Works at Caernarfon Castle, Wales, in 1309, and in 1318 Master and Surveyor of the King's Works in the castles of North Wales. He designed the King's Gate at Caernarfon as well as the northern walls.
