(1697–1769)
English architect. He became draughtsman to Lord Burlington, and produced drawings for Kent's The Designs of Inigo Jones (1727). Burlington had him installed in the Office of Works, and for the rest of his life ‘Burlington Harry’ was made, becoming Master-Mason and Deputy Surveyor in succession to Kent, then Comptroller of the Works in succession to Ripley.
