Henry Huggins is the first book in the Henry Huggins series of children's novels, written by Beverly Cleary. It's about when Henry Huggins finds a dog while going to the drug store and names it "Ribsy". This book was a response to a letter from a kid saying, "Where are the books about the kids like us?" The critics called Henry the "modern Tom Sawyer."
