'Herbstgefühl'

‘Herbstgefühl’, a poem written by Goethe in 1775, and first published in the same year in Jacobi's Iris with the title Im Herbst 1775. The present title was adopted in 1789. It is remarkable for the rich maturity and concentration of its style.
