This is the video release of the concert that spawned the CD release of the same name, Here Come the Ranting Lads: Live! Finally, a consumer video documentation exists of one of the more energetic and yeoman-like bands around. This presentation is about an hour in length, meaning several songs were edited out due to time and space constraints. Absent on this recording are "Everybody's Got Love Bites But Me," "Blackleg Mining Man," "The Oakey Strike Evictions," and "Car Boot Sale." Little attention is given to between-song banter, meaning this is all about the music, not appearance, shtick, or self-promotion. This is a nifty keepsake for those fans who have supported this band throughout the years in concert or from afar.
