Higashichikuma (東筑摩郡 Higashichikuma-gun?) is a district located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan.

As of November 1, 2005, the district has an estimated population of 39,285. The total area is 327.84 km². Northern Higashichikuma is increasing its population, while the Southern Higashichikuma is decreasing.

The district has a sister city relationship with the city of Chuncheon in South Korea.

There are one town and five villages within the district.
