Wikipedia:

highly unusual method

A highly unusual method or HUM is a bidding system in contract bridge that is so uncommon as to be restricted to the highest levels of tournament play. These conventions are coded with a yellow sticker, and are more highly regulated than brown sticker conventions.

An example of such a system would be one in which an opening pass indicates typical opening-worthy strength, i.e. 13 points.
