Highway of Heroes

Wikipedia: Highway of Heroes (disambiguation)

[citation needed]

The Highway of Heroes is another name for King's Highway 401 in Ontario, Canada. It honors Canada's fallen soldiers (notably those who died on duty in Afghanistan), though Highway 401 in its entirety remains designated as the Macdonald-Cartier Freeway. This length of the freeway from Highway 404/Don Valley Parkway in Toronto to Glen Miller Road in Trenton is often travelled by a convoy of vehicles carrying a fallen soldier's body, with his or her family, from CFB Trenton to the coroner's office at the Center for Forensic Sciences in Toronto, and since 2002
