Hilen, Holon

Bible Guide: Hilen, Holon

A priestly town in the territory of Judah (Josh 21:15, Holon; I Chr 6:58, Hilen). In Joshua 15:51 Holon is mentioned together with Goshen and Giloh among the towns of the sixth district of Judah, north of the district of Hebron. It is identified with Khirbet Alin northwest of Beit Jala, which apparently preserved the ancient form of the names Hilen and Giloh.

Concordance
Josh 15:51; 21:15. I Chr 6:58
