Home Loan Financial is the holding company for Home Loan Savings, which has about five branches in eastern Ohio's Coshocton and Knox counties. True to its name, the bank primarily originates one- to four-family residential mortgages, which account for more than two-thirds of its loan portfolio. It also issues commercial loans and mortgages, construction loans, and consumer loans. Founded in 1882 as The Home Building Savings and Loan, the bank offers standard deposit products including checking and savings accounts, CDs, and money market accounts. Home Loan Financial completed a reverse stock split transaction in August 2005, allowing it to deregister from the Nasdaq.
