Honor Society is a pop/rock band heavily influenced by R&B.[1] The band recently signed to a label under Jonas Records (in affiliation with Hollywood Records). In the summer of 2009, they performed the lead single in Summit Entertainment's Bandslam. The band released their debut album Fashionably Late on September 15, 2009, preceded by the Bandslam single "Where Are You Now".[2] Their first CD Fashionably Late debuted at #18 [3] on the Billboard Magazine Top 200.

Michael and Jason actually went to school together in their younger days. Alexander started out by playing drums for the Jonas Brothers, then chose to go his separate way, and joined Honor Society
History
In June 2008, the band released their second EP, A Tale of Risky Business.
In 2009, they achieved more success with the Bandslam single called "Where Are You Now,"[4] which is featured on the movie's soundtrack album. Later, they also covered the The Cars song "Magic" for the Wizards of Waverly Place soundtrack.[5]
In May 2009, RollingStone.com named them one of the six breakout bands from Bamboozle to watch.[6]
In July 2009, Honor Society performed at the Miss Teen USA pagent, which had a worldwide live online broadcast from Atlantis Paradise Island, in the Bahamas.[7] In August 2009, the Honor Society presented the "Fab-U-lous" award at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.
Their debut album, Fashionably Late, was released on September 15, 2009.[2]. The band performed songs from this album as an opening act on the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009[8] and as headliners on the Full Moon Crazy Tour which was a smaller venue tour i.e House of Blues. This involved playing their songs off the new record and featured special guest Esmee Denters.
Television
During the summer of 2009, Honor Society made several television appearances on local news stations in New York City[9], Milwaukee[10], Washington DC[11], Chicago[12], and Los Angeles. On the 30th of August 2009, they were on Much Music in Toronto Canada with the Jonas Brothers and performed "Over You" and "Where Are You Now". They also performed "Over You" and "See U In The Dark" on CBS-TV for the Arthur Ashe Kid's Day on August 30. The band also performed on the Today Show on September 25, 2009, with a performance of the song "Over You". They also performed 2 songs on the Halloween edition of the CBS Saturday Early Show on October 31, 2009. On December 3, 2009 the band performed "Over You" and "Here Comes Trouble" on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show on ABC-TV.
Personal Lives
The band considers it their mission statement to "connect with as many fans as possible".[13] All four of them have individual twitter pages to do so as well as contact fans on their official facebook. They are also known for having "Pinkberry Parkinglot Parties" (PPP) where they connect with fans outside of Pinkberry restaurants. All four band members say they are currently single.
Tours
Full Moon Crazy Tour
During summer 2009 while also opening for the Jonas Brothers World Tour, Honor Society did their own headlining shows called "The Full Moon Crazy Tour" which was the official pre or post show party in select cities.[14]
Secaucus NJ, Las Vegas, NV and Columbus, OH shows were canceled, with venues for Boston. MA and New York, NY being changed just days before the show.
Fashionably Late Tour
To support the release of their debut album, Fashionably Late, in the Autumn of 2009 the band will be embarking on the "Fashionably Late Tour"[15] As the Fashionably Late tour came to an end, Honor Society decided to add a second part of the Fashionably Late Tour. The information for the second part of the tour is still unknown, but is known to begin sometime in early 2010.
