Coordinates: 47°14′N 8°36′E / 47.233°N 8.6°E / 47.233; 8.6 Horgen is an administrative district of the Swiss canton of Zürich. The district is located in the Zimmerberg and Sihl Valley region; its capital is the town of Horgen. The district consists of 12 municipalities and has a total population of 108,727 (December 2005) and an area of 104.16 km2 (40.2 sq mi).
