Hotel Club Akumal Caribe
Hotel Club Akumal Caribe is a resort located along the shore of Akumal Bay (62 miles south of CancĂșn), in the heart of the Maya Riviera in Quintana Roo, Mexico. The club is owned by the original founders of Akumal as a diving town in 1958, Hotel Club Akumal Caribe remains the largest and first resort in Akumal. The resort's symbol, a tribal depiction of a turtle, comes from the meaning of the mayan word "Akumal", which is "place of the turtles."
