The HTC HD2 (also known as the HTC T8585 and HTC Leo),[1] is a mobile telephone running the Windows Mobile operating system. The phone was designed and manufactured by HTC, and was released in Europe in November 2009. In some other regions, including North America, it will be released in 2010.[2][3].
It is the first Windows Phone with HTC Sense, a capacitive multi-touch touchscreen.[4] HTC has overlaid the TouchFLO 3D user interface over the Windows Mobile interface.[5] Due to the Windows Mobile operating system being primarily made for stylus input , HTC sells an optional stylus pen for the HD2. [6]
An almost identical phone, but running the Android operating system, is known as the HTC Passion.[7][8]

Camera issue
The HD2 has a 5 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash. Some HD2 handsets have a fault that causes a magenta color cast that has been described as a "pink aura" to all photographs.[9][10] HTC has released a software fix for the issue, which the user can install onto the handset using a Microsoft Windows computer connected via a USB cable.[11]
