Hua Xin
Hua Xin (華歆) (157 - 231) was an adviser under the
Chinese warlord Cao Cao. He was
originally a minister under the Han Dynasty's court who switched to serving under
Sun Ce, and then later on to Cao Cao. During the novel, Hua Xin pressured Emperor Xian to abdicate the throne to that of Cao Cao's son, Cao
Pi. However, the role that Hua Xin played in history is supposedly much different. In history Hua Xing was a minister over
letters of Wei.
