Hui Liangyu (Chinese: 回良玉pinyin: Huí Liángyù; born October 1944 in Yushu, Changchun, Jilin) is the Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China in charge of agriculture.

Biography

He is part of the Hui (Chinese Muslim) ethnic group.

Since 1969, he has been working for the Communist Party and the Chinese Government in a number of positions, rising to full membership in the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee since November 2002. He was the CPC party chief in Jiangsu from 2000 to 2002. Since 2003, he has been a Vice Premier.
