Hungama TV is a TV channel for kids in India. Originally a subsidiary of UTV Communications, the channel was sold to Disney in 2006[1]. The channel retained its own identity and is helping to increase Disney's presence in India. Hungama is now an operating unit of Disney Channel Worldwide. This channel is meant for children. Popularity

The popularity of Hungama TV has increased rapidly since it was started in 2004. Hungama TV has been running a contest which is highly interactive and entertaining for kids named "Pyjama Party". However, its main claim to fame is sthe program Shin Chan.
