Character Bio

ORIGIN: Birthplace unknown, trained in the military and stationed near Isla Sorna, presumably around Costa Rica.

OCCUPATION: Special Forces soldier

AMBITIONS: To protect his nation

ROLE IN THE LOST WORLD:

You're late! A million practice runs and you're late! You can hear the armada of helicopters already leaving the landing pad as the force slams doors and windows open and closed repeatedly. A muffled voice yells something incoherent but you're pretty sure it said, "Hurry up! Last chopper's ready to go!" Do you have all your gear? Good enough. Besides this is just some hunting mission. It's not like we're squaring off against terrorists or anything!

You finally make your way out of the barracks and see the silhouettes of the other helicopters burning into the sunset. Stepping up into the chopper you reassure your comrade and bunkmate of how much you hate flying in an open chopper at night, always afraid someone's gonna push you out. Unfortunately for you, you'll be flying all through the night just to reach Isla Sorna at daybreak, and there have been reports of random storms right along your flight path.

Dawn finally arrives, but the horizon is dark and the orange glow of the sun can only be seen shimmering off the water. You tap the pilot on the shoulder and ask him exactly where you are. You also notice how badly he's sweating and realize that his answer isn't going to be "right behind the convoy."

"We're over the island but I can't find the insertion point," he yells over the headset. Great, you think. Just as you sit back in your seat, the helicopter is hit by some severe turbulence and everything gets thrown back and forth. Holding on for dear life, you've already heard one man go flying out the side -- and you're not about to be next!

As the chopper wavers back and forth it seems that it will never stop. It finally does, though, just as the clouds clear and you can see that you're now heading straight toward a waterfall! The pilot screams and tries to pull up, but the wind coming off the cliffs above is too strong, forcing the helicopter onward at an alarming rate. Tilted at nearly a 60-degree angle, you grab what you can right before you jump into the river below, wishing the pilot had come with you. Frozen in fear, he simply sits there, his hands clenching the stick and still trying to pull up. The choppy sounds of the helicopter blades quickly fade away as you can now hear the water below ... it doesn't sound very calm down there.

Cold shock hits you as the water envelops your body and you feel yourself floating downstream. A bright light and a faint howl force you to turn around just in time to see the helicopter explode as it hits the cliff behind the waterfall. Realizing that the flaming debris will soon be floating your way, you swim with the current, not trying to fight your way to the side. You sense that the current is picking up and the rocks have dwindled to only a few, the helicopter debris now wedged well behind you. Now fighting to swim to the shore, you realize what's up ahead -- another waterfall! No amount of human effort could ever break free from the current. All you can do is sit in the water, breathing and relaxing -- praying that you'll survive the fall.

Another shock of cold water rushes over your body as you clamber to the ground. A few minutes pass as you rest and pant heavily, the last 10 minutes feeling like an eternity. You slowly force your eyes open and see that you're in some elaborate underground cavern system. The water, surrounded by rock formations, is much slower and a darker shade of green. It looks like your piton will come in handy around here. You hear a distant growl and catch the faint image of something in the distance. But it can't be! There aren't any living dinosaurs!

The Hunter's levels will take you across a huge canyon system that runs through the entire island. You'll eventually make your way to the dilapidated InGen complex and the geothermal power plant. Here, your game will soon come to an end as you reunite with the survivors from the helicopter armada.
