Crown Prince Hussein bin Al Abdullah (born 28 June 1994) is the eldest child of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan. Hussein is part of the Hashemite family and claims to be the 44th-generation direct descendant of prophet Muhammad.

A Royal Decree was issued 2 July 2009 naming Hussein as Crown Prince effective immediately.[1] If he ascends to the throne one day, he will be known as King Hussein II.

Hussein is currently enrolled at King's Academy, a boarding school located in Madaba-Amman, Jordan.
