hyporchēma

hyporchēma (pl. hyporchēmata, ‘dance-song’), form of Greek choral lyric in which dance, with mimetic movements, was prominent. The very few surviving fragments of hyporchemata by Pindar and Bacchylidēs give little indication of form or content.
