Hyun Bin (Korean: 현빈) is a South Korean actor who is known for his role as cocky restaurant owner Hyeon Jin Hun in the MBC drama My Name is Kim Sam Soon and most recently, The Snow Queen.. He is also popular for being the face of Korean male cosmetic company SOMANG (소망), formerly held by Kim Jae Won. He is the face of 꽃을든 남자 (Man with Flowers) for the cosmetic line.
Hyun Bin is currently in Friend, Our Legend playing the lead role of Han Dong Soo. This is a TV series adopted from the popular 2001 movie Friend.
On August 5th 2009, both Hyun Bin and Song Hye Gyo's agency have confirmed that the two are dating. Hyun Bin and Song Hye Gyo met in 2008 for the drama The World that They Live In. Although they were not dating during the filming of the drama, both have kept in touch and did not start dating until June of 2009. It was said that due to Hyun Bin's being away for filming of Friend, Our Legend in Busan made the two realize they were in love.
