Season One

In the first season of I Love Money, the contestants were selected from the first two seasons of Flavor of Love, I Love New York and Rock of Love, and competed in physical and mental challenges in an attempt to win $250,000.[1] Production started in early February 2008, and concluded in March 2008. The show premiered on July 6, 2008 and the casting special aired on July 1.[1] The show is hosted by Craig J. Jackson. The winner was Nicole "Hoopz" Alexander.

Season Two

I Love Money 2, is a follow-up of the first season. The contestants were selected from the shows I Love New York, Flavor of Love, Rock of Love, and Real Chance of Love and are competing in physical and mental challenges in an attempt to win $250,000.[2] Production started in late October 2008, and concluded in November 2008. The show premiered on February 2, 2009,[3] with Craig J. Jackson returning as host.[2] The winner was Angela "Myammee" Pitts.

Season Three

I Love Money 3 would have been a follow up to the previous seasons of the show. The contestants were to be selected from other VH1 reality shows such as Rock of Love, Real Chance of Love, Daisy of Love, For the Love of Ray J, as well as Megan Wants a Millionaire. Production began in late June 2009 & wrapped early August 2009, with Craig J. Jackson returning to host. Reportedly, I Love Money 3 was set to air in January 2010.[4] In August 2009, VH1 postponed any showings of season three due to castmember Ryan Jenkins' possible involvement in the murder of model Jasmine Fiore. It has been speculated that Ryan Jenkins possibly won I Love Money 3 and went to the 51 Minds office to request an early cut of the $250,000 check just days after Jasmine's death, but was denied.[5] This can't be determined because a 51 Minds spokesman said that Ryan was trying to pick up his honorarium check of $5200.[6] On August 20, 2009, Ryan Jenkins was charged with the murder of Jasmine Fiore. Three days later, the body of Jenkins was found in Hope, British Columbia, with Jenkins reportedly hanging himself in a motel. The day prior, Megan Wants a Millionaire was cancelled.[7][8] On August 24, 2009, VH1 announced on its website that season three of I Love Money would not air.[9] On September 10, 2009, Cashmere (Leah Minor) from For The Love of Ray J who was a contestant on the show, reported that I Love Money 3 may be released on DVD.[10] On November 18, 2009, Marcia Brazil posted a picture with a I Love Money shirt.[11]

Season Four

Rock of Love's Brittanya O'Campo stated that she "will appear on the fourth season of I Love Money"[12], which has led to speculation of a fourth season. Subsequently, Rock of Love's Marcia Brazil stated that I Love Money 4 will premiere in January 2010.[13]
