Review

Producer Teddy Randazzo surrounds one of the 60's classiest ballads with Easy Listening retreads: "The Girl from Ipanema," "Exodus," "People," and "Funny." Updates of Burt Bacharach and Hal David's "Make It Easy on Yourself," and "Walk on By" have a more contemporary sound, and share a similar subject line with Randazzo's lamenting "I'm On the Outside Looking In." A new take on "Tears on My Pillow" provides a good blast from the past. An obvious rush job to capitalize on the success of the title song. ~ Andrew Hamilton, All Music Guide
