The IEEE Alexander Graham Bell Medal is an award that honors outstanding contributions in the field of telecommunications. It was instituted by the IEEE Board of Directors in 1976, commemorating the centennial of the invention of the telephone by Alexander Graham Bell. It may be presented to an individual, or to a team of two or three.
Recipients of this award receive a gold medal, bronze replica, certificate, and honorarium.
