The IEEE Masaru Ibuka Consumer Electronics Award is awarded for an outstanding contribution to consumer electronics. It is named in honor of Masaru Ibuka, Honorary chairman and co-founder of Sony Corporation. The award is given each year to an individual or team up to three. The award was established by the IEEE in 1989.

Recipients of this award will receive a bronze medal, certificate and honorarium.
