Igor Pavlov (Russian: Игорь Павлов) is a Russian freelance programmer and is the creator and the maintainer of the file archiver 7-zip and its toolset. He is also the creator of the 7z archive format[1][2] and of a few other experimental programs including 7-max, 7-benchmark, UFA, 777 and BIX.
