Game Description

You and your partner are members of a team of elite combat specialists called the Ikari Warriors. Entrenched in the thick of the jungle, you are on a special mission behind enemy lines. Your goal is to rescue the colonel being held captive by the enemy. Armed with hand grenades and machine guns, you'll spend most of the game on your feet (running vertically), shooting and dodging enemy soldiers.

You'll maneuver around or through rivers and bombed-out buildings, and you can hide behind rocks and rubble to avoid enemy fire. Occasionally, you'll get a chance to hop into a tank. The tank is impervious to machine gun fire, but vulnerable to grenades.

You'll need to pick up special items to replenish tank fuel and ammo supplies. You begin the game with 50 grenades, 99 rounds of ammunition and three lives. You receive a bonus life every 10,000 points.
