Illdisposed is a death metal band from Aarhus, Denmark that was formed in 1991.[1] As of 2008, the band consists of vocalist Bo Summer, guitarists Jakob "Batten" Hansen, and Franz Hellboss, bassist Jonas "Kloge" Mikkelsen, and drummer Thomas "Muskelbux" Jensen.
Since their formation, Illdisposed has released eight studio albums, two compilations, one extended play, and one self-released DVD sold only at concerts.[2]

In early 1991, Illdisposed is formed and soon release its first demo entitled The Winter of Our Discontempt, this demo provided for band a deal with Nuclear Blast Records.[3] In the end of 1992, the band contributed with the track "Revert" to the compilation Fuck You, We're from Denmark, released by Progress Red Labels, followed by 1993's debut album Four Depressive Seasons, and in December 1993 toured on Europe as support for Wargasm and Sinister.[3] In 1994, drummer Michael Enevoldsen left the band to join Angel Accelerator Death and guitarist Martin Gilsted, due to problems with alcoholism is temporarily replaced by Hans Wagner.[3] In early 1995 drummer Lars Hald assumed for some live concerts, the second studio album Submit is released with new drummer Rognvard Rolf-Hansen, previously had been guitarist for Caustic from Esbjerg.[3] During the tour in Germany to promote the album, the guitarist Lasse Bak played in several concerts naked.[3] There's Something Rotten in the State of Denmark is the third studio album, and was released in 1997. This album marked the departure of guitarist Morten Gilsted replaced by ex-roadie Tore Mogensen.[3]
In 2000, Illdisposed release the tribute album Retro, with cover of bands such as Carcass, Autopsy, Darkthrone, Venom, Motörhead, and AC/DC.[3]
