Biography
Illogicist hail from the Alpine city of Aosta, Italy, but find their key inspiration in the technical death metal of Florida's legendary Death. Comprised of vocalist/guitarist Luca Minieri, guitarist Diego Ambrosi, bassist Emilio Dattolo, and drummer Remy Curtaz, Illogicist developed their intricate songwriting craft over the course of two demos, 2002's Polymorphism of Death and 2003's Dissonant Perspectives, before diving into their first official album, Subjected, in 2004. This was met with largely positive reviews, but has yet to be followed with any additional music; the only news to emerge from the Illogicist camp of late being the announcement that they have enlisted a new drummer in Sergio Ponti. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
