Review

Illumination is comprised of a gorgeous quartet of new age pieces, some of them instrumental but others featuring the hauntingly beautiful voice of Imogen Moore. The effect is spellbinding in its languid beauty, derived from Celtic folk sources translated into the most accessible, simple, and beguiling bodies of sound imaginable. Parts of it are reminiscent of Enya's work, though the material here is so soothing as to make Enya's music seem needlessly rushed. ~ Bruce Eder, All Music Guide
