The Immaculate Conception in Star Wars is part of the Jedi prophecy with foretells of a chosen one who would bring balance to the force.
Anakin Skywalker
In Star Wars: Episode I Anakin Skywalker is revealed to be the chosen one foretold in the prophecy.[1]. His mother Shmi Skywalker reveals that Anakin had no father and that she simply became pregnant with him.[2] Even though Anakin does fall to the Dark Side he is eventually able to bring balance to the force when he is redeemed aboard the Death Star in Star Wars: Episode VI.
Implications of Immaculate Conception
Whilst there is no indication that the Chosen One had to be born without sexual intercourse taking place Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn does state that the one who would fulfil the prophecy would be conceived purely by midi-chlorians. However, the reason that the Chosen One does not have a biological father has never been explained.
