Immram Curaig Máele Dúin

Immram Curaig Máele Dúin (Voyage of Máel Dúin's Boat), an immram or voyage tale [see tale-types], dating from the 8th or 9th cent. Máel Dúin learns of the murder of his father by marauders and embarks on a sea voyage to avenge him. He sees many wonders and faces great dangers. Máel Dúin himself undergoes a transformation and is reconciled with the murderers.
