Inage-ku (稲毛区) is the northern ward of Chiba City in Chiba Prefecture in the Kantō region of Japan.

Terrain
The whole of the ward is on top of a plateau. There is a lot of undulation and geographical features.
Transportation
JR Sōbu Line (Local) (yellow line) and Sobu Line (Rapid) (blue line) stop at Inage Station. On the outskirts of Inage the former also stops at Nishi-Chiba Station. There are also the Keisei Line and the Chiba Urban Monorail which both have stations in Inage.
National Highway 16 runs through Inage.
Education
Chiba University's Main Campus is in Inage in between JR Inage and Nishi Chiba Stations. Nishi Chiba is closer and the trains run later but Inage has the Rapid to Tokyo.
Industry
In the northern part of the ward is Nairiku Industrial Park (内陸工業団地 Nairiku kōgyōdanchi).
History
On 1 April 1992 Inage established itself as a ward.
