Plot
Shannon Tweed brings her usual physical attributes to this soft-core mystery thriller about one psychologist's ethical misadventures. Tweed stars as Rebecca Mathis, a sex therapist with a troubled past. As a college researcher, she used a sexual stimulant called Extremis on a student test subject, killing him. Now Rebecca is a respected professional, though her wheeler-dealer husband Tom (Jan-Michael Vincent) is making her life miserable, pressuring her for money and carrying on an affair with her niece Elaine (Brandy Sanders), who works as Rebecca's assistant. When the death of a patient brings hard-boiled Detective Nick Sharkey (Gary Hudson) to her door, the aroused Rebecca is soon involved in a passionate affair with the veteran cop. When Tom ends up in legal trouble, he exposes Rebecca's continued experimentation with Extremis, but the courageous Nick volunteers to act as a human guinea pig and once and for all remove any doubts about Rebecca's guilt in using the substance. ~ Karl Williams, All Movie Guide
