Indiana Beach is an amusement park and camp ground located on Lake Shafer in Monticello, Indiana. Founded by Earl Spackman and originally named Ideal Beach, the park opened in 1926 with a sand beach, bath house, and refreshment stand.

Boardwalk
The Indiana Beach boardwalk, similar to Coney Island, features live entertainment, fast food booths and several amusement rides and attractions. Numerous token and ticket carnival games such as skeeball, ring toss and balloon and dart throws are found throughout the park.
Lodging
Along with its several hotels and cottages, Indiana Beach offers more than 1,400 campground sites adjacent to the amusement park, making it one of the largest camping destinations in the state.
All lodging includes free shuttle service to and from the amusement park.
Parking
Parking costs $10 to park inside, $5 to park in the sections nearest to the entrance, and the rest is free.
