Review

This is an excellent compilation of tracks from Navras, one of the leading labels for classical Indian music. Fairly short classical pieces are played on a variety of instruments by many of India's leading players: Vilayat Khan (sitar), Nikhil Banerjee (sitar), Shivkumar Sharma (santoor), and Hariprasad Chaurasia (flute). This would serve as an excellent starting point for someone interested in classical Indian music. ~ Sean Westergaard, All Music Guide
