Spinning the World Wide Web into gold is the goal of Internet Gold - Golden Lines. Israel's top ISP, Internet Gold provides Internet access to more than 340,000 business and home subscribers. It also offers related services such as VPNs, Web site hosting and production. Internet Gold operates an Internet portal and it has joint ventures such as MSN Israel, with US software giant Microsoft as a partner, and Gold Mind, partnering with Partner Communications and Playboy. The company has also begun to offer international phone service, after the country granted new licenses for doing so. Israel's Eurocom Communications, controlled by chairman Shaul Elovitch, owns 69% of Internet Gold.
