Ion Alexe (born July 25, 1946 in Cornu) is a former heavyweight boxer from Romania, who won the silver medal at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, West Germany. In the final he was defeated by Cuba's legendary Teófilo Stevenson by walk-over.
