Irish cream liqueurs

A genre of liqueurs that can range in texture from creamy to milky, in color from beige to pale brown, and in flavor from spiced toffee to honeyed chocolate. Among the more popular Irish cream liqueurs are Bailey's (the original), Carolans, O'Casey's, and St. Brendan's. There are also some "light" Irish creams, all with about 2 percent less alcohol, slightly fewer calories and a lighter texture than the regular version.
