Irvine is a hamlet in Alberta, Canada. It is located about 35 km east of Medicine Hat on Highway 1, at an elevation of 760 meters (2,493 ft).
The hamlet is located in census division No. 1 and in the federal riding of Medicine Hat. It is administered by Cypress County.[2]
During the September long weekend Irvine is home to the 20 Mile Post Days. This is a weekend event that includes a parade, and weeklong rodeo. It is known as 20 Mile Post Days because it is approximately 20 miles from Medicine Hat.

Irvine features an elementary school, along with a Convenience Store, and a hockey and curling rink.
Demographics
As of 2006, the community had a total population of 522 living in 205 dwellings.[1] With a land area of 804.4 km2 (310.6 sq mi), it has a population density of 1.0 /km2 (2.6/sq mi).
