Wilfrido puts out a record every year, so he hasn't gone anywhere - and yet he returns! I mean, he goes back to a straightforward merengue big band which doesn't get loaded down with cute arrangements or interesting ideas that don't necessarily work. In fact, Wilfrido doesn't get many credits at all on this CD -- he isn't arranging and he only sings on four songs, though I'm sure it is his trumpet I hear.
