Ixonos plc (OMX: XNS1V), formerly Tieto-X plc, is a Finnish information and communications technology service company producing flexible software development, maintenance and project management solutions that support its customers’ competitiveness and risk management.
The company’s services cover consulting, sourcing and expert services related to project management, as well as software project deliveries and maintenance services with comprehensive responsibility.
Ixonos's clientele comprises leading mobile and smartphone manufacturers, mobile network suppliers and telecom carriers operating on the international markets, as well as Finnish finance and public administration companies and organizations.
The company was established in 1994, and it was listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange in 1999. The number of personnel in end of the year 2007 was almost 900, and the turnover was EUR 59.2 million.
The Group’s main office is located in Helsinki, in addition to which the Group has offices in Jyväskylä, Kemi, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Turku, Salo and Tampere, as well as in Tallinn (Estonia), Košice (Slovakia) and Bochum (Germany).
Ixonos is listed in the Small Cap group of the Helsinki Stock Exchange’s Nordic List. Industry classification: Information technology. Trading symbol: XNS1V.
The change of the name
The change of name from Tieto-X to Ixonos was entered into the Finnish Trade Register 12 February 2007 and was valid in the Helsinki Stock Exchange's SAXESS trading system as of 14 February 2007.
The change of company code to XNS and share's trading code to XNS1V was valid in the Helsinki Stock Exchange's SAXESS system as of 13 February 2007.
