Izunokuni (伊豆の国市 Izunokuni-shi) is a city located in central Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka, Japan.
On April 1, 2005 Izunokuni was founded by the merger of the towns of Ōhito, Izunagaoka and Nirayama, all from Tagata District.
As of 2009, the city has an estimated population of 49,458 and a density of 522 persons per km². The total area is 94.71 km².
