Biography

Jun Onose (小野瀬 潤), or J, is the former bassist of the Japanese band Luna Sea. He was born August 12, 1970. He still plays bass, but also sings lead vocals in his own band.

His website domain is an acronym of his favorite phrase "Wake Up Mother Fucker!".

In 1997, J put out his first solo work, a single called Burn Out, which contained the title song and a cover of "Call Me", originally by Blondie.

Since 1997, J has had prominent names in the music industry featured either as his backing band, or showing up as friends for some of his lives including Raymond Watts of PIG and KMFDM, Ray McVeigh Zilch, Takashi Fujita from Doom, Franz Stahl, Scott Garrett and Ian Astbury (The Cult), Youjeen of Cherry Filter, Steve Jones and Duff McKagan.

J and Franz both helped produce Youjeen's albums and singles released in Japan in 2001-2002.

J considered fellow musician hide as an older brother.

April 2009, J made an announcement on F.C.Pyro Magazine Vol.21 that he got married.
