Jack Crawford Taylor (born 1923) is an American businessman and the founder of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Company. With an estimated current[update] net worth of around $9.5 billion, he is ranked by Forbes as the 18th-richest American and the 40th-richest person in the world.[1][2]
Taylor enrolled in Washington University's business school in 1940.[3] During WWII, he piloted an F6F Hellcat fighter from the decks of the USS Essex and the USS Enterprise.[3]
