Biography
Jack D. Moore began working in film in 1933 as a set decorator, with close to a hundred credits to his name before making his debut as a full production designer in 1953 with The Story of Three Loves. Moore won an Academy Award in 1949 for his work on Little Women, and was nominated for Random Harvest, Young Bess, Sweet Charity, and Airport. He died of natural causes in 1998, at the age of 92. ~ All Movie Guide
