Character Bio

Growing up in poverty is a challenging way of life that no one would ever ask for. Unfortunately, that's how Jack Levin's childhood went. By the age of 9 he was taking care of his family: two sisters and his mother who was bedridden with Gonskie flu. His father left them all when Jack was 4, leaving his natural instincts to take care of the family.

His dashing good looks were all that he needed to get into the F-Zero championship as the committee was looking for a spokesperson to cater to a new, younger audience. After Jack's sister entered his high school picture, he won and quickly gathered much fame in the league. He now takes care of his family by sending them money from the myriad of marketing items created after him: action figures, trading cards, even holographic Halloween costumes.

Many of the other racers don't like Levin due to his immense popularity, being so young and so new to the tournament. Though he hasn't finished highly in the few races in which he has competed, his popularity will carry him until he can get used to the opposition.

ABOUT HIS MACHINE IN F-ZERO X

Sporting a sleek purple and gold color scheme, the Astro Robin is a uniquely tailored craft, designed just for Jack. Created more to be easier on the eyes than a good contender, the vehicle is rather unbalanced with decent body strength and good grip despite weak boost power. It has yet to be fully tested in the races.
