Jahrah

An oasis town and governorate in central Kuwait. Located about 30 miles (50 km) west of Kuwait City, Jahrah is the capital of the governorate and the agricultural center of the country. Jahrah covers about two-thirds of Kuwait, but except for the principal agricultural region it is sparsely populated desert.
