Toaster/DJ Brigadier Jerry moves from praise to political and dancehall tunes. The eight tracks include the lightweight throwaway "Three Blind Mice," more substantial "Kushunpeng" and "Armadiddeon Style," reverent "Jah Jah Move" and "Give Thanks And Praise" and the powerful "Everyman A Me Brethren." Jerry is a no-nonsense toaster who seldom does novelty numbers or emphasizes speed and verbal facility at the expense of his message. Only the set's brevity (less than 40 minutes) works against it, as it ends just when Brigadier Jerry has generated some momentum. ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide
